Katie joined the Maths Hub as a Cohort 8 Mastery Specialist and has since worked as an LLME leading professional development with practitioners from EYFS and Primary settings across the region. Katie is also Primary Maths Lead for the CLF, working as part of the School Improvement Team to support the primary schools across the Trust in their implementation and development of Teaching for Mastery. Prior to this, she worked as class teacher and maths lead at Ashley Down Primary School in Bristol, teaching in both Key Stages 1 and 2. Katie's ambition is for all children to develop a deep understanding of mathematical structures and to reduce the disadvantage gap by equipping children with the tools they need in order to make connections.
